Reivo forest reserve



Reivo is Swedens largest forest reserve below the Scandinavian mountain chain. Animals like royal eagle, bear, wolwerine, owl, moose, reindeer, beaver and many more make their home here. Trees older than 600 years can be found. In the western part a big fire occured 1966, nowdays known as the "the burnt forest". The oldest human traces date back 8.600 years. The area has been suggested as Swedens next national park. Hiking & fishing. A few cottages and boats can be hired, call 0046 (0)960 137 20.
